| Sarouk carpets are produced in towns and villages across the province of Arak. Trade names for the carpets of the Sarouk region include: Feraghan, Feraghan Sarouk, Mahal, Mohajaran Sarouk, Mushkabad (now called Mahal) and Viss. However Sarouk carpets generally refer to the best grade of Arak carpets rather than the product of just one village. |
